Tampa Bay’s Concrete Driveway & Patio Specialists
ConcreteCo has been pouring driveways, patios, and sidewalks across the Greater Tampa Bay area for years. From South Tampa bungalows to Wesley Chapel master-planned communities, we understand what Florida homeowners want — clean broom finish driveways that hold up to the heat, stamped concrete patios that rival pavers at a fraction of the price, and sidewalk work that passes HOA inspection the first time.
Florida concrete is different from the rest of the country. There are no freeze-thaw cycles to worry about, but you do have intense UV exposure, high humidity, sandy soil that can shift, and HOA design requirements that have to be met. We design and pour concrete built specifically for those conditions — properly reinforced slabs, UV-resistant sealers, and finishes that stay looking sharp year after year.
We serve the full Greater Tampa Bay corridor — from Clearwater and St. Pete on the west side to Brandon, Riverview, and Valrico to the east, and north through Wesley Chapel, Lutz, and Land O'Lakes. Call us for a free on-site estimate.

Concrete Services We Provide in Tampa Bay
🚘 Concrete Driveways
New pours, full replacements, and widening projects. We handle standard broom finish, exposed aggregate, and stamped decorative driveways. Properly reinforced for Florida's sandy soil and designed to meet HOA specifications. Includes UV-resistant sealer.
🏠 Concrete Patios
Pool decks, lanai extensions, outdoor living slabs, and entertainment areas. Stamped concrete gives you the look of natural stone or brick at significantly lower cost than pavers — and no weeds, no shifting, no re-sanding every few years.
🛣 Sidewalks & Walkways
Front entry walks, side yard paths, pool cage entries, and community sidewalk connections. We pour to local code requirements and HOA specs. Broom finish for traction, or stamped to match your patio or driveway aesthetic.
✨ Stamped Concrete
Ashlar slate, Herringbone brick, cobblestone, wood plank — stamped concrete patterns work perfectly in Florida's outdoor lifestyle. Color-hardener and release agent give you the custom look without the custom paver price tag or long-term maintenance headaches.
🏖 Paver Alternatives
Pavers are popular in Tampa Bay but they shift, grow weeds, and require periodic re-sanding and re-sealing. Stamped or exposed aggregate concrete gives you a comparable look with a monolithic slab that won't heave, settle unevenly, or require constant upkeep.
🔧 Pool Deck Concrete
Cool-deck coatings, broom finish, and stamped pool surrounds. Florida pool decks take serious UV punishment — we use additives and sealers rated for high UV environments so your deck stays looking good and doesn't get dangerously hot underfoot.
Built for Florida's Climate — Not Just Imported From Somewhere Else
A lot of concrete contractors treat Florida like any other market. We don't. Concrete in Tampa Bay faces conditions that shorten the lifespan of a poorly poured slab fast: intense summer UV that bleaches and degrades unsealed surfaces, high humidity that promotes mold and algae growth on horizontal surfaces, sandy sub-base soil that compacts unevenly and can cause cracking, and heat that accelerates curing and requires proper timing and water management on the job.
We've dialed in our mix designs, fiber reinforcement, control joint placement, and sealer selection specifically for the Gulf Coast climate. The result is concrete that stays crack-free longer, looks better longer, and doesn't require emergency re-sealing every 12 months.
We also know the HOA approval process in communities across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. We provide the drawings, specs, and material samples your HOA needs so you don't get held up waiting on approvals.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does my Tampa HOA need to approve a new driveway?
Most HOAs in the Tampa Bay area require prior approval for any driveway replacement or new patio installation. We provide the design drawings, material specs, and color samples your HOA architecture committee needs. Most of our customers get approval on the first submission.
Broom finish, stamped, or pavers — which is right for me?
Broom finish is the workhorse — clean, durable, affordable, and HOA-standard in most communities. Stamped concrete gives you a premium decorative look (slate, brick, cobblestone) for significantly less than pavers. Pavers are beautiful but require more long-term maintenance (re-sanding, re-sealing, occasional resetting). We'll walk you through all three options and help you choose.
How long does concrete last in the Florida heat?
Properly installed and sealed concrete in Florida lasts 25–40+ years. The biggest risk factor is UV degradation of the surface sealer — we recommend re-sealing every 2–3 years to keep the surface protected and looking sharp. We offer re-sealing services for existing concrete too.
When can I drive on my new concrete driveway?
We recommend keeping vehicles off the new slab for at least 7 days. For the first 28 days, avoid parking heavy vehicles (trucks, RVs, boats on trailers) directly on it. Concrete continues to gain strength for 28 days after pour. Florida's heat actually speeds up surface curing — we manage this with curing blankets and water as needed during the job.
Do you seal the concrete after pouring?
Yes — every project we complete includes a UV-resistant penetrating sealer applied after the concrete has properly cured. For stamped concrete, we use a higher-gloss topical sealer that enhances the color and pattern. Sealing is not optional in Florida — it's what separates a 10-year slab from a 35-year slab.
